DGR001 / HMR0021995 CD / 2xLP OUT OF PRINT This compilation documents just about every active band (23 in all) in the Minneapolis/St. Paul punk and hardcore scene in 1995. The first pressing of 1,000 CDs was put out on The Daggers. The second thousand CDs and 1,000 double LPs was a co-release with Half-Mast. REVIEWS Dwgsht zine #8 I got this some time ago and have actually listened to it quite a bit. I usually can only get into one maybe two sons on any given compilation, but this one is pretty well stocked with some great songs by some excellent bands. All the bands featured are from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area and play punk music in one form or another, which seems to make it a little more significant than just a bunch of random bands. You find Man Afraid, Dillinger Four, Code 13, Assrash, The Strike, State of Fear and lots more. Over 30 songs in total. The double LP version is out now too with a couple bonus tracks. Definitely worth getting. MAXIMUMROCKNROLL - April 1996 A comp of Twin Cities bands with stuff ranging from hardcore to punk rock to pop punk to mod punk, bands include QUINCY PUNX, DIRT POOR, and THE STRIKE. 32 tracks with some bands doing more than one tune.
